Beautiful!!! You all look amazing and Camila looks so happy. I love her pictures where she is laughing...the happiness reaches her eyes. So very happy for you all. What a beautiful family.

Our Thoughts....

Camila coming into our life has been a beautiful experience!!!

Everything about it has been just amazing... Waiting for God's will to choose this little baby for us, falling in love with this little girl who was born so far away, not know her yet but feeling her so deep inside our hearts, and finally, to feel the love of our family and friends has just been overwhelming. There are no words to describe our happiness, not only of having Camila in our life but to be able to share all these moments with you.

09/23/10- Sent application to Gladney Center for Adoption
10/05/10- Sent Application for Homestudy with AAA Partners in Adoption
10/21/10- Fingerprints sent to FBI
11/01/10- Appointment for Psychological Evaluation
11/15/10- Psychological reports received
11/20/10- Received Fingerprints report from FBI
02/08/11- Final Homestudy report received
02/26/11- Mailed I800A application
Feb-March- Got paperwork apostilled
04/08/11- I800A approval
04/11/11- Dossier sent to Colombia to be translated
05/04/11- Dossier submitted to ICBF
05/10/11- ICBF approval
08/23/11- Referral issued
08/24/11- Sent FBI prints to be updated
09/02/11- Received updated Fingerprints report from FBI
09/20/11- I-800 sent to USCIS
10/05/11- I-800 Approval
10/17/11- Approval sent to embassy in Colombia
10/25/11- Article 5
10/26/11- Received our date to receive Camila (11/08/11)
11/05/11- Travel date
11/08/11- Gotcha day
11/16/11-left Villavicencio to go to Bogota to wait for Sentencia
11/23/11- TB test done
11/25/11- TB test reading and it was negative : )
11/28/11- Got Camila's Colombian Passport
11/28/11- appointment with the embassy doctor
11/29/11- ICBF gave us Article 23 last document we need to be able to go to the embassy and get her visa
11/30/11- Went to the embassy , submitted all the paperwork for the visa
12/01/11- Went to the embassy and got the visa and all the paperwork needed to travel. We will be going home on 12/04/11
12/04/11- Flew back to Atlanta
